BROUGHTON CRAFT & PRODUCE SHOW 2022
Village Hall, Broughton – Saturday 3rd September, 2022
Open: 2.30 - Admission free
Prize Giving at 3pm  
 
 
Rules
Entries will be restricted to residents of Broughton Parish.(Max 3 entries per exhibitor per class)
Entry fee – 25p per entry, 5 entries for £1.00, more than 25 entries £5
Entries will be received on show day only from 10:00 – 11:30 am
Judging will commence at 12 Noon. * Viewing at 2.30pm. Prize giving at 3pm*
Prize cards and points will be awarded as follows;
1st prize – 3 points,              2nd prize – 2 points,                 3rd prize – 1 point.
Trophies will be awarded to the exhibitors gaining the most points in Sections A – F, and for runners up. A trophy will be awarded for best exhibit in Sections A, B/C and Section E/F
CHILDREN are welcome to enter any classes, please put age on exhibits but no names
All exhibits in Sections A, B, D, E  must have been grown or made by the exhibitor. Pot plants must have been the property of the exhibitor for a minimum of 6 months.
All exhibits in classes 42 – 48 must not have been entered in any previous show
Exhibits may not be removed until after prize giving
Any point or complaint not covered in the rules will be referred to the Entertainments Committee whose decision is final.

3 oz butter or margarine                                                     
3 oz white sugar                                                                             
2 eggs (little milk if required)                                                       
6 oz S.R. flour                                                                    
1 level tblsp ground almonds                                 
12 oz mixed dried fruit                                                                   
1 oz cherries                                                                                   
Loaf tin 8½”x 4½” approx                                                                                                                                                                                                                       .
Cream butter and sugar, add eggs then dry
ingredients. Put into greased loaf tin. Cook for
1½ hours at 150c (300f) turning down to 140c
(275f) for last 15 mins.
